Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh went live on their social media, as they played drums and clapped to show their gratitude to those still working amid coronavirus scare
Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced Janta Curfew for 14 hours on March 22, and it has been a success so far with almost pin drop silence on the road. However, PM Narendra Modi also urged everyone to express their gratitude towards the people working to keep the country going, by going out on their balconies or their doors at 5 pm on March 22, and clapping or banging their plates or by ringing bells. Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor were seen supporting this movement. Now, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh also supported this and were seen playing drums and clapping.
Just recently, pictures and videos of Anil Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan along with Jaya Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, and others surfaced on the Internet. Now, following PM Narendra Modi's instructions, Deepika Padukone and her hubby Ranveer Singh headed to the balcony of their home, along with a drum. They went live on their social media at 5 pm to share with fans how they are thankful to the people still working and keeping the country running. Watch the video here :
